This is such an easy recipe!! I have always enjoyed the combination of pork and something sweet like pineapple or apple. For those of you who haven’t tried it, please do!
Prep time: 5 minutes. Cook time: 25 minutes. Total: 30 minutes
- 6 boneless pork loin chops
- 1-2 granny smith apples peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
- salt and pepper to taste
- season with dried thyme, minced garlic and crushed pepper
In a skillet, add butter and a little olive oil.
Add your seasoned pork chops. Brown both sides.
Once your pork is nice and brown. Remove from pan and add apples and brown sugar and more butter of course. Make sure to use the drippings from the pan.
Saute apples for 5 minutes.
Now add your chops. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes or until chops are cooked through.
